Many of the most challenging and exciting Hoop Vinyasa poses and movements involve foot hooping — and we look forward to sharing key concepts and experimenting with new ideas together. In this workshop, open with Hoop Vinyasa sequences that integrate hoops as static and dynamic tools to help with alignment, strength, and concentration in our yoga practice. We will focus on mastering the mechanics of foot hooping — and yoga asanas in which this technique can be applied. In addition to offering challenges to students to work toward, we will also create an open space wherein students can find different ways to integrate foot hooping into their practice.
Pre-requisites: Students should be comfortable with hand hooping and have an intermediate vinyasa yoga practice. For yoga practitioners new to hooping, the Hoop Vinyasa 101 will fill this requirement.
