In honor of the New Year and the spirit of creation, we are excited to offer a Hoop Vinyasa workshop with a focus on finding grace in transitions. We will warm our bodies with yoga sequences that integrate hoops as static and dynamic tools to help with alignment, strength, and concentration. Then, working with several hoop techniques, delve into a creative space to find fluidity in the space between poses. This practice will blend a strong and well-aligned asana practice with the supple and creative movements of hoop dance. All levels are welcome. Hoops will be provided if you do not have one. (bring or rent a yoga mat)
Pre-requisites: Students should be comfortable with hand hooping and have an intermediate vinyasa yoga practice. For yoga practitioners new to hooping, the Hoop Vinyasa 101 will fill this requirement.
